3 Supervillains Who Would Never Make Bail

August 11, 2023

If you’ve been following along with our blogs for any amount of time, there’s a good chance that you’ve seen a number of helpful posts about the entire bail process. “How does bail work?” is a question that we get on a regular basis, and if you take a look at our blog archive page, you’ll see that we’ve tackled subjects like how you can bail a loved one out of jail, why you need a good bondsman, and what factors a judge looks at when setting bail.

We genuinely hope that these posts are helpful to our potential clients because at Wanna Get Out Bail Bonds on Oahu, we strive to provide our clients with the knowledge that they need to make it through a tough time. At the end of the day, we want you to know that whether you’re seeking your own release from jail or you are calling us on behalf of a loved one, we’ll be there for you any time of the day or night. It’s as simple as that.

Which Supervillains Wouldn’t Make Bail?

If you’re a resident of the planet Earth, there’s a good chance that you know just how big superhero movies are these days. As a matter of fact, The Avengers: Infinity War recently crossed the $2 billion threshold at the box office. However you feel about some of the villains in these movies, one thing is for certain–most of them wouldn’t be making bail. So who are the worst offenders? Let’s take a look!

Hela

Fans of Thor: Ragnarok will no doubt recognize Hela’s name, and although the movie changed her up a bit from her appearances in the comics, a number of things remained the same, including the fact that Hela is the goddess of death. The truth is that Hela’s depiction in the comics has given her powers including amazing strength and durability. She can also pull objects from the astral plane to use at her disposal.

If you haven’t seen the movie yet, be sure to check it out because Hela’s portrayal is captivating to say the least. We won’t spoil the end of the film for you, but the way everything comes together works well, and this is only part of the reason that the film currently holds a rating of 92% fresh on Rotten Tomatoes.

We don’t know about you, but we have to think that no judge would grant bail to the goddess of death.

The Joker

No list of villains would be complete without a mention of The Joker. Played brilliantly by amazing actors such as Jack Nicholson, Mark Hamill, and Heath Ledger, this is one character whose backstory is truly unknown. Although the comics have attempted to fill in some of the gaps, and a recent depiction on Gotham has sought to give this character a bit of motivation for what he would eventually become, The Joker is commonly depicted as not having a reliable backstory at all.

Over the years, he has done everything from killing Jason Todd (the second Robin) to paralyzing Commissioner Gordon’s daughter Barbara to sending people back in time as a part of his schemes. At the end of the day, regardless of the severity of the crime, we don’t think there’s a judge out there who would grant bail to The Joker.

Thanos

Thanos, also known sometimes as The Mad Titan, was recently brought to the big screen in The Avengers: Infinity War. Originally introduced as a villain in a run of Iron Man comics, Thanos is incredibly strong and determined to court Death herself in many of his appearances. When he is in control of the infinity gems (or the infinity stones as they are known in the recent movies), he is capable of pretty much anything, as evidenced by the end of the film; we won’t spoil the ending for you if you’re one of the three people on the planet who hasn’t seen the movie yet.

Where will next year’s Infinity War sequel leave Thanos? It’s hard to say for sure, but we’d be willing to bet that after the atrocities that he has committed, he won’t be making bail any time soon.
