We’ll just be honest though–we had so much fun with that last blog that we’d like to offer a bit more of the same. Whether you’re a fan of superheros or not, we think you’ll appreciate this look at three more supervillains who would never make bail. Who else will make the list? Keep reading to find out!

What Other Supervillains Wouldn’t Make Bail?

In our first post, we highlighted Hela, The Joker, and Thanos as people who wouldn’t be getting bailed out after being arrested for their crimes. Without further ado, let’s dive into three more villains that we don’t think would be making bail any time soon.

Ego the Living Planet

Originally appearing in Thor #132, Ego the Living Planet was created by comic book greats Jack Kirby and Stan Lee. Although his story has changed over the years–an occurrence that is not at all uncommon in the world of comic books–Ego is capable of creating objects out of the molecules present on his planet.

Portrayed wonderfully by Kurt Russell in Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2, Ego the Living Planet is shown to have been responsible for the death of Peter Quill’s (also known as Star-Lord) mother. If you haven’t yet seen this movie, be sure to check it out on a streaming service or digital video disc near you.

Scarecrow

Jonathan Crane–better known by his terrifying alter ego Scarecrow–is a villian in the DC Comics universe. Chances are that casual fans will recognize the character from Christopher Nolan’s critically acclaimed Batman trilogy, but his first appearance was all the way back in 1941. As someone who is obsessed with the concept of fear, Crane eventually goes on to become a psychologist, utilizing the knowledge that he gains for evil.

Armed with his fear toxin, we have to imagine that no judge in the world would want a supervillain like Scarecrow back on the streets after he was arrested.

Ronan the Accuser

“Who in the world is Ronan the Accuser?” It’s a great question. In the comic books, Ronan the Accuser is portrayed as a member of the alien race known as the Kree. If the name sounds familiar at all, it’s because he was portrayed by actor Lee Pace in Guardians of the Galaxy, and he is said to be reprising that role in the upcoming film Captain Marvel.

Originally appearing in an issue of Fantastic Four back in the late 1960s, Ronan the Accuser is always scheming to overthrow different heroes. How will he fare against Captain Marvel? That remains to be seen, but one thing is for sure–a villain this powerful and deceptive would likely not be granted bail.
